Fans of science and math may want to attend an event Thursday evening at Simpson University in Redding. Professors of the science and math departments will give five brief presentations on various topics, followed by open labs in the science and nursing center. Also, prizes can be won in a spaghetti tower building competition. “Encounters in Science and Mathematics” is totally free and will run from 6:30 to 9PM Thursday evening.
