Online Underage Sex Sting Ends In Another Arrest

A highly successful online underage sex sting operation by the Tehama County District Attorney’s Office continues it’s seemingly endless parade of men seeking sex with an underage girl who doesn’t exist. Investigators run an ad on Craigslist that claims to be posted by a teenage girl seeking intimate adult companionship. When someone responds they have a series of online typed conversations with what they think is a young teenage girl eager to explore her newfound sexuality. Eventually a meeting for sex is arranged. Andrew Michael Coffee arranged such a meeting but when he arrived he changed the location. At the new rendezvous Coffee found what all the men before him found- district attorney investigators waiting to place him under arrest. Coffee has been sentenced to 210 days in jail, 80 hours community service and 3 years formal probation.
