A multi-agency team of law enforcement made a sweep of the Hilltop and Dana Drive business district Thursday. Redding Police were joined by Anderson Police and the CHP as a total of 16 officers participated in the operation, mostly on bicycles. Over the course of 4 hours, 7 people were booked into jail, 24 citations were issued and dozens of contacts and searches were done. Officers also posted for several homeless camps for removal and recovered many shopping carts.
