An Anderson man will not fight charges stemming from an incident last month involving a neighbor’s children. Ira McQueen lured three young children into his apartment. Once he got them inside he locked the door, handed one of them a bag of marijuana and exposed himself to them, refusing to let them leave. When the children eventually made it out they immediately told their mother and she called Anderson Police. On Thursday McQueen entered pleas of no contest to kidnapping a child under the age of 14 with the intent to commit child molest, indecent exposure, furnishing marijuana to a child and annoying or molesting a child. On March 7th McQueen will be sentenced to 5 years in state prison.
