Tehama County Deputies intercepted an alleged thief on Monday afternoon. Aaron Mehringer was pulled over in a traffic stop on Southbound Interstate 5 at Antelope Bouevard in Red Bluff. Deputies say he was in possession of a stolen laptop computer worth $2000, and a stolen cell phone, as well as some Methamphetamine. Mehringer was booked into jail on $36,000 bail. His female passenger was arrested on warrants. The computer and cell phone were returned to their grateful owner.
