An Oregon man’s body has been found floating in the Sacramento River. The body was found Sunday afternoon in the water south of Knighton Road. The coroner’s office has identified the man as 37-year-old Robert Cecil Montgomery of Umatilla, Oregon. His next-of-kin has been notified of his passing. A post-mortem exam is scheduled. The death remains under investigation and anyone with information that possibly pertains to Mr. Montgomery is asked to contact the coroner’s office at 225-5551.
