A Weaverville man suffered severe head trauma when he was attacked by three other men, according to the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office. The assault happened on Weaver Bally Road the evening of March 29th but the information was withheld until Tuesday because numerous witnesses had to be contacted and the suspects had to be identified and apprehended. The reason witnesses had to be interviewed is because the victim was so badly beaten that he still cannot clearly recall what happened. He remains hospitalized in stable condition. Dustin Tobiassen, Robert Leighton and Joel Andrade have all been booked into jail for assault with a deadly weapon and mayhem with permanent disfigurement of a victim.
