A homeless man who stabbed another homeless man to death in Red Bluff has been sentenced. On April Second of last year Tehama County Deputies were called to a homeless encampment on Spider Island in the Sacramento River Slough north of Antelope Boulevard. When they arrived they found 39-year-old Harvey Guy McGlothin deceased, and 20-year-old Jesse Jesus Jacobo was actively trying to hide the body. During questioning Jacobo told detectives that an argument had started after Jacobo accused McGlothin of stealing from him. The argument escalated until Jacobo repeatedly stabbed McGlothin. A witness saw the murder occurring and ran for help. McGlothin was originally from Oregon. Jacobo has been convicted of second degree murder and sentenced to 15 years to life in state prison.
