Woman Disappearance Nearly A Month Ago Now Called Suspicious

A reward is being offered in the case of a Fall River Mills woman who disappeared last month, a disappearance that is now being called “suspicious”. On April 20th at 5 O’clock, 70-year-old Lauralyn Palmer left to take her dog for a walk from her home on Cassel Fall River Road near Shoshoni Loop. Her husband reported her missing two hours later, saying she may be suffering from some early stages of dementia. The dog, a Queensland Heeler named Lucy, came home on her own four days later. The sheriff’s office got a number of tips about possible sightings, but none of them developed into solid leads despite 5 days of intensive searching by multiple public agencies and volunteers. Lauralyn Palmer is 5-foot-2 and 140 pounds with gray hair, and she wears glasses. A $2500 reward is available for information that leads to Lauralyn’s whereabouts. Tips can be provided anonymously to 243-2319 or scsecretwitness.com.
