Officials will know where to find a Tehama County registered sex offender for a while, after being sentenced to prison for failing to notify them. 57-year-old Aaron James Hosler is required to register with the probation department on every birthday, and whenever he moves. Last year he moved out of his partner’s house and intentionally failed to re-register his new address. That failure is a felony charge in itself, and he has a previous conviction for exactly the same violation. Last week Hosler was sentenced to 7 years in state prison.
