An arson arrest was made behind an East Redding senior care facility. At 8:15AM Thursday morning Redding Fire Department was called for a vegetation fire behind Copper Ridge Care Center on Hartnell Avenue near the V.A. Clinic. The fire was burning in the wooded area between the back of the facility and Lowden Lane. There were reports that the fire was intentional and that someone was seen running away from the fire’s origin. Fire Investigator Patrick O’Connor says the responsible person was found and booked into jail for arson.
