A little bit of celebrity was not a good thing for a wanted Redding woman who tried to hide her identity, according to police. Saturday night Redding Police stopped a car on Highway 273 at Breslauer Way because the license plate did not match the vehicle in a records check. Officers discovered the car was stolen and arrested 35-year-old Chris Griner, who also had several outstanding warrants. The passenger allegedly tried to give officers a fake name, but she was one of Shasta County’s Most Wanted on May 18th, so officers recognized her as 26-year-old Lorin Leonard. Both were booked into jail.
