All evacuations have been lifted from the Creek Incident and all residents have been allowed to return to their homes. More than 600 fire personnel are still working toward full containment and with 64 engine companies in the fire’s interior, residents should be very cautious on the roads. Mop-up and repairs have begun and hazardous trees are being mitigated, so some smoke will still be rising from the area. Cal-Fire says four homes have been destroyed, along with 7 other minor structures. The incident is 70% contained after burning 1475 acres. The series of fires started along Clear Creek Road and the Igo and Cloverdale areas early Sunday afternoon. The Sheriff’s Office and Cal-Fire Investigators are still seeking a vehicle of interest, described as a gold or tan minivan, possibly a 1990’s model Dodge Caravan or something similar.
