Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies recovered a stolen car in the City of Shasta Lake by using a Lo Jack device. Deputies were patrolling Saturday afternoon in the area of Pine Grove and Lake Boulevard. The deputies vehicle was equipped with the Lo jJck sensor which helps locate vehicles that are reported stolen. While in the area the device alerted that a stolen vehicle was nearby. The stolen car was located at the Shell Station on Lake Boulevard and was occupied by three people. The driver was identified as 20-year-old Brett Cooke of Redding and he was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.
