The California Water Commission announced that $816 Million Dollars has been approved for the Sites Reservoir Project near Maxwell. The funding is part of the Proposition 1 water bond that was approved by California voters in 2014. Northstate Congressman Doug LaMalfa said that he was happy with the announcement and that the reservoir project is widely recognized as critical for the state’s water needs.
