After being closed all last week, the Shasta County Superior Court reopened Monday and got right to work on processing looting suspects. Thomas Albert Scudder, who was arrested by Redding Police last week, entered a plea of no contest to unauthorized entry of a closed disaster area. No plea bargain offer had been made. Scudder was sentenced to the maximum of 6 months in jail.
