Redding’s Neighborhood Police Unit continue to target the downtown drug scene. They’ve been watching 44-year-old twin brothers named Eric and Derrick Lewis, and staking out their room at the Market Street Manor Motel. A search warrant was served Thursday and officers say when they entered the room they saw several people preparing to smoke Methamphetamine. Four people were arrested: Derrick for maintaining a place where drugs are used or sold, Eric for possession, 55-year-old Parnell Hopkins for a probation violation and 27-year-old Jarod Maliki Hughes for several warrants. All together, the four of them have been booked into Shasta County Jail a total of 135 times.
