Highway 299 is open on a limited basis with one-way traffic control between Whiskey Creek Road and Trinity Dam Boulevard, but only between Noon and 1:30PM and between 6PM and 5AM. Too many drivers have been arriving at the closure too early and it’s hindering the movement of emergency vehicles. Cal-Trans has asked us to advise drivers they should arrive no more than 15 minutes early prior to the Noon and 6PM openings. The highway is closed at all other times and significant delays should be expected during the open times. Updates are posted to the Cal-Trans District Two Facebook Page.
