Grant Will Help Trinity County Residents Affected By Carr Fire

Trinity County residents who were evacuated due to the Carr Fire may be able to reimbursed for some expenses thanks to a grant from the United Way. The United Way of Northern California and the Weaverville based Human Response Network will be provide compensation and services to those who suffered losses in Trinity County. Tri Counties Bank and the United Way have made a $17,000 donation to the the Human Response Network that will provide cash gift cards to households in the Lewiston and Douglas City areas who incurred expenses due to mandatory evacuation orders. Applications are available at HRN’s office in Weaverville or online at humanresponsenetwork.org. Applications must be received by September 7th.
