Cal-Fire is hiring people to work on fuel reduction crews throughout the state. These “Forestry Technician” jobs are entry level positions and include limited term full time and permanent full time jobs. For permanent status, new hires will take basic fire fighter training. Other training will include introduction to surveying, map reading, and dendrology. The job could involve working long and irregular hours, including Sunday’s and holidays.
