A 20-year-old woman from Gerber was killed in a crash in Tehama County Friday afternoon. Just after 2 O’clock 26-year-old Jacob Cozine was driving a Chevy HHR northbound on Rawson Road north of Chard Avenue when he allowed it to drift off the side of the road and strike a guardrail before coming to rest in a field. The 20-year-old woman, who was a passenger, was ejected and landed in the field. She was flown to Enloe Hospital, where she died of her injuries. Cozine suffered major injuries. Both were wearing seatbelts. The CHP is still investigating.
