The Kerlin Fire near Hyampom in Trinity County has burned 1715 acres and is 42% contained. All mandatory evacuations have been downgraded to advisories, including for structures west of the South Fork of the Trinity River from Lower South Fork Road to Salmon Rock. The fire laid down Monday and has held within containment lines.
