A high school teacher has been arrested by Anderson Police after being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student. The relationship involving an instructor at Anderson New Technology High School was reported by the Anderson Union High School District last Friday. A joint investigation was done by the District Attorney’s Office with Anderson and Redding Police because crimes are believed to have occurred in both cities. 35-year-old Daniel Schafer of Redding was arrested Wednesday and booked into Shasta County Jail.
