Candidates Forum Planned For Early October

The candidates for Redding City Council will meet for a public forum on October 1st to address some specific issues. The event is sponsored by several groups of environmentalists and others who want to hear what the candidates have to say about the city’s hiking and biking trails, the tree ordinance, riparian areas and parks, and climate change. The forum will follow the League Of Women Voters’ format, with audience members submitting questions to be posed to the candidates. It’ll be Monday October 1st at 6 O’clock at the First United Methodist Church at South and East Streets in Downtown Redding.
