A significant quantity of concentrated cannabis was seized in the Butte Valley Area of Siskiyou County last week, according to Sheriff Jon Lopey. Last Thursday the Siskiyou Interagency Marijuana Investigative Team served a series of search warrants on private property and found 1,528 plants, 525 pounds of processed bud and several pounds of high-potency oil, as well as the lab in which it was produced. Investigators also seized guns, generators and water pumps. The sheriff’s office did not say if any arrests were made in connection with the operation.
