A wanted man definitely chose the wrong place to do some dumpster diving. At 5 o’clock Monday afternoon, a clerk at Anderson Police Department was walking to her car when she noticed a man in the dumpster. Officers contacted the man and asked why he was there. 31-year-old Cody Dale Jenkins told them he was “looking for cool stuff”. A records check showed that Jenkins was on felony probation for burglary and had two active arrest warrants. He was also allegedly in possession of methamphetamine. Officers told him they don’t keep any cool stuff in the dumpster, as they placed him under arrest.
