A large shop building was destroyed by fire Thursday afternoon just north of Anderson. The large building off Jacqueline Way west of Highway 273 was fully involved in fire when firefighters arrived just after Noon. The warehouse-style building, which was apparently the home of Husa and Sons Construction, had a huge amount of materials piled inside and it was in close proximity to surrounding homes, making it tricky to access. The cause has not been determined.
