A pilot suffered unspecified injuries following a crash of a white and blue colored Cessna about a quarter mile from the Lake California air strip Tuesday. The pilot had apparently been experiencing mechanical problems before the 9:30AM crash and came up short of the runway and witnesses say he narrowly missed PG&E power lines. He was taken to a Redding hospital for his injuries. He was not a Lake California resident.
