A vegetation fire southwest of Cottonwood has burned about 45 acres, with forward progress stopped. As of 11:44AM Monday morning, Cal-Fire reported the Adams Fire was 10 percent contained. Ground crews and a Forest Service helicopter from Red Bluff battled the blaze. It’s located south of Bowman Road and west of I-5, off Adams Road at Barr Lane.
