A vegetation fire caused concern overnight in a Redding neighborhood. Redding Firefighters were called at around 12:30AM to the area of Wyndham Lane and Progress Drive. A fire was burning east of the A.C.I.D. Canal. A second alarm was called, bring all the city’s resources, as well as a water tender from Old Shasta. The fire was contained at 4 acres of thick brush, berry bushes and debris. The cause was determined to be a well-established homeless camp.
