RPD Investigating After A Shot Is Fired At Motel 6

Someone fired a gun in a North Redding motel parking lot Tuesday night, and police are seeking the men believed to be involved. At 7:20PM, officers were sent to the Motel 6 on Twin View Boulevard on reports that a verbal argument between 2 or 3 men had ended with one shot fired. The suspects had fled before police arrived, but witnesses gave good descriptions of the cars and a surveillance photo can be seen on the KQMS Facebook Page. The men were described as white or hispanic. One car was a white Kia Optima with a Texas plate number D-C-S-2-3-6-9. The other car was a brown Honda Civic. Police found the bullet lodged in the doorframe of an unoccupied room.
