Teen Sentenced To Prison For Escaping Custody In Tehama County

A teenager has been sentenced for a violent escape from Tehama County Juvenile Hall. Isaiah Nathaniel Lozano was 17-years-old when he convinced another juvenile to help with his scheme to escape. The pair talked a counselor at the facility into opening a gate so they could retrieve a football that had been thrown over the fence. Once the gate was opened, Lozano punched the counselor in the face so hard that he suffered multiple bone fractures around his eye socket that required surgery to repair. Lozano and the other boy fled, but were later captured. Lozano has been given a 7 year state prison sentence.
