Deadline Approaching To File For Camp Fire Cash Grants

Nearly 9000 applications have been turned into the United Way by Camp Fire survivors for emergency cash relief grants. According to the United Way, as of January 2nd 2423 grants have been issued for a total of $1,328,881. Larry Olmstead is the President of the United Way and he says the agency has added temporary staff and volunteers to process the large number of applications. He adds that there is sufficient funding to provide the grants that total $500 per household. The deadline to apply is 6PM on Friday January 11th.
