Searchers are continuing their quest to find a missing Whitmore woman. 42-year-old Cheryl Marie McBee was reported missing Monday morning by her mother, Char Novack. She was last seen her on Sunday in her Jeep Liberty at the Whitmore General Store. Monday afternoon the worry increased when McBee’s unoccupied Jeep was found in a small creek in the Whitmore area. According to the Whitmore Community Action Group, searchers from Shasta County Search and Rescue are looking for Cheryl McBee on horseback and on foot. She’s a white woman, 5-foot-2 and 150 pounds with brown eyes and shoulder length brown hair. She was wearing a dark colored shirt and blue jeans.
