A group of advocates for the homeless are organizing a clean-up event Tuesday. The loosely organized group is called “Based On A True Story”. They encourage anyone interested in finding solutions to the homeless crisis to meet them at the MLK Park on Sheridan Street at 2 O’clock Tuesday afternoon. They’ll be picking up trash left by homeless people, then they’ll be feeding all the people who helped out. The group wants to improve the public perception of the homeless and work toward solutions.
