Couple Arrested After Baby Dies In Trinity County

Two parents in the Hayfork area have been arrested after the death of their baby. At 10:15AM Friday morning a 9-1-1 call was made from Trinity Pines from someone saying their infant was not breathing and they en route to Trinity Hospital. An ambulance was dispatched from Hayfork to meet the car and take the baby the rest of the way to the hospital in Weaverville. The baby was later pronounced dead. Friday evening Trinity County Deputies arrived with a search warrant at the family’s home on Horseshoe Loop in Trinity Pines. The parents, 31-year-old Amber Sexton and 36-year-old Tyson Enlow, were both arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and for being addicts in possession of firearms. An autopsy on the baby is scheduled.
