A Redding Police K9 served his final shift Monday. Chyr has been working for the people of Redding for seven years and he officially retires on March 10th. Chyr has taken down many criminals and, as a long time member of the SWAT team, has been involved in several critical incidents. He’ll spend the remainder of his days relaxing with his family.
