A submerged car found along Highway 299 east was apparently stolen. Wednesday morning just after 7AM, the California Highway Patrol received a report of a silver sedan in Cedar Creek. Multiple agencies, including a dive team, responded to the scene near McCandless Gulch. The car has a Philadelphia Eagles sticker in the back window. I’s unknown how long the car has been in the water. Cal-Trans, Cal-Fire and the CHP are monitoring water levels to determine when it can be safely removed from the water.
