A man who stole a hog was found in a can, according to Redding Police. Early Monday morning there were reports of a suspicious man, possibly with a rifle, in the parking lot of a South Street apartment complex. A motorcycle was then heard leaving, and shortly after that someone called to report his Harley Davidson had been stolen. Officers spotted the bike on Park Marina Drive and tried to stop it but the rider led them on a chase before abandoning the Harley on Wyndham Lane. Redding Police with a K9, and help from a CHP helicopter, searched the area until a Wyndham Lane resident called and said someone had run through her backyard. Njord the K9 alerted on a trash can in the backyard and inside officers found 25-year-old Cory Ray Arguello of Oroville. He was arrested for stealing the motorcycle and evading police, and he also had warrants for vehicle theft.
