Authorities Identify Bank Robbery Suspect As Parolee

Glenn County law enforcement now believe they know the identity of a robber who hit a bank in Orland a couple of weeks ago. On March 26th a man walked into the Redding Bank of Commerce branch at Fourth and Walker Streets in Orland. After demanding and receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled on foot northbound on Fourth Street. No weapon was ever seen during the heist. Several leads prompted Orland Police to serve a search warrant at a home in Willows. 52-year-old Kenneth Stephen Meza, who’s currently on parole, hasn’t been seen since the robbery. He may be driving a white Toyota Tacoma.
