A shed fire in West Redding was quickly extinguished before it had a chance to spread. Just after 4PM Tuesday afternoon Redding Firefighters were called to the backyard of a home on North Court Street after multiple calls about a dark plume of smoke. The fire was burning on the exterior of a 12 by 12 foot wooden shed, and caused about $1100 damage. The cause is not known. The resident was not home at the time.
