The candidate forum scheduled for this Saturday has been canceled. The League of Women Voters of the Redding area had invited Brian Dahle and Kevin Kiley, but Dahle has said he can’t make it. They are both current Assemblymen, vying for the for Northern California’s available State Senate seat. The runoff election to fill the Senate seat is June 4th. Another special election will need to be held to fill the Assembly seat vacated by the winner. The league will try to reschedule the forum before the election.
