This friday, as a preview to Shasta Bike Month, the “Spring Spin” will be held at Caldwell Junior Bike Park in Redding. Prizes, activities, and lots of information on biking, bicycle safety and the local trails will be available from Cal-Trans, the CHP, Shasta Living Streets, Redding Parks and Trails Foundation, Shasta Wheelmen, Advanced Cycling Education, Healthy Shasta, Owens Healthcare, Sports LTD, and others. There will also be live music, and food and beer will be available for purchase. The “Spring Spin” is Friday from 4PM to 8PM at Caldwell Junior Bike Park, located in Caldwell Park next to the North Market Street Bridge.
