An alleged burglar left a trail for Redding Police early Sunday morning. At around 2:30AM a security guard reported seeing a man break into Jindra’s 76 Station at East Cypress and Bechelli. He saw the man break in through a window and leave on foot carrying merchandise. Officers arrived and followed a trail of stolen goods to the yard of a nearby home. In a car in the driveway they reportedly found 31-year-old Alex Wojciechowski hiding. While being booked into jail, Wojciechowski reportedly threatened to kill officers, and he was booked on charges for that as well.
