A third case of Measles has been confirmed in Shasta County. The adult patient is isolated at a local hospital to prevent spreading the virus. The case was identified on Friday, and is related to the second case discovered on April 11th. Anyone who visited Movies 14 in Redding on Tuesday the 16th between 7 and 11PM should watch for symptoms and stay away from more vulnerable people, such as the very young and the very old. Butte County now has 10 confirmed cases of Measles. Shasta County Public Health strongly encourages vaccination. Information is at shastahhsa.net.
