The City of Redding has hired a new Airports Manager. Jim Wadleigh is currently the Operations Manager at the Palo Alto Airport. His first day on the job in Redding will be May 13th. Wadleigh will replace Bryant Garrett, who took a job at the Ogden, Utah Airport after 4 and half years in Redding. Since Garrett’s departure in January, former Manager Rod Dinger has been serving as Interim Manager and will work with Wadleigh to make a smooth transition. Wadleigh has family in the area. The City of Redding owns and operates both Benton Airpark and Redding Municipal Airport.
