Red Bluff Police are investigation the death of a 66-year-old man. At about 6:30AM Thursday morning, at employee at “One Stop” on Walnut Street reported a man was lying in the parking lot. Officers responded and called for medical aid. They arrived and declared the man deceased. Officers discovered that the man had bought a cup of coffee in the store, then walked outside and sat on the sidewalk, where he was later found unresponsive. Examining the store’s surveillance video, there were no signs of foul play. The man’s name is being withheld until next of kin can be notified. The cause of death is under investigation.
