Redding Police are looking for help in identifying a suspect in a stabbing. At 3:45PM Wednesday afternoon officers were called to the Parkview Market right across the street from city hall and the police station. They found a man suffering from several life threatening stab wounds. He was rushed to Mercy Hospital for emergency surgery and at last word he was listed in critical but stable condition. Witnesses told police the assailant was a woman who rode away on a light colored beach cruiser bicycle. She’s described as a white woman in her 20s with auburn hair in a bun. She was wearing a white top and black leggings.
