A Florida man who was shot in Trinity County on Saturday had to drive 20 miles to get cell service. The victim reported that he’d been shot in the head, while in his vehicle on a dirt road. From where the shooting occurred, he drove to the Mad River area to call for help at 3:30AM. The victim was flown by helicopter to a Redding hospital, where’s reported in stable condition. The name of the victim has not been released, nor have any suspects been named. The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office has impounded 2 vehicles in the case.
