CHP Seeks Driver Of Pickup Who Reportedly Struck Pedestrian

The CHP in Tehama County is looking for a driver in a hit-and-run that injured a pedestrian Thursday night in Corning. 39-year-old Raegan Lenihan was walking north on the east shoulder of Highway 99-W south of Viola Avenue at 5 minutes till 10 when she was struck by a northbound pickup. Lenihan was thrown to the ground and injured, but she was able to walk to a nearby house, where the residents called 9-1-1 for her. She was transported to Saint Elizabeth Hospital with moderate injuries. The driver of the pickup didn’t stop, but some pieces left behind provide some clues in addition to the glimpse that Lenihan got as she hit the ground. The CHP says it was a white 2010 to 2014 Ford F150, possibly with black wheels and oversized tires. It will have damage to the passenger side mirror and possibly the right front fender. Anyone who can identify the truck or its driver is asked to call the Red Bluff CHP at 527-2034.
